Bentley has once again taken the automotive world by storm with its recent announcement of the full details of the first-ever diesel model in its brand’s history—the classy Bentayga Diesel.
Touted as the fastest and most powerful luxury diesel SUV in the world, the Bentayga Diesel boasts a new, technologically advanced, triple-charged, 4.0-liter, 32-valve V8 engine. Generating 435 PS (429 bhp) and 900 Nm (664 lb. ft.) of torque, this luxury car hits 270 km/h (168 mph) and is capable of accelerating from 0-100 km/h in 4.8 seconds (0-60 mph in 4.6 seconds).
The Bentayga Diesel prides a new, clean technology that provides it with the lowest CO2 emissions of any Bentley. In its interior, cutting-edge features, state-of-the-art technologies and handcrafted luxury are retained to ensure the smoothest and most pleasant driving experience.
According to Wolfgang Dürheimer, chairman and chief executive of Bentley Motors, the all-new Bentley Bentayga represents a moment of huge importance in Bentley’s history, by providing the world its fastest luxury diesel SUV. “Immense power, grand touring capabilities and superb refinement – this is a true Bentley. Only Bentley could produce a car so powerful, yet so refined.”
Though the full details have already been disclosed, the luxury diesel SUV will not make a presence at the highly anticipated Paris Motor Show in October. It is slated to go on sale in Europe early next year, which will be followed by its launch in Russia, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, and Taiwan, respectively.
