Pirelli—a leading global tire manufacturer based in Italy—has recently launched six types of tires for its new Urus model, which can go from 0 to 100 km/hr in 3.6 seconds and from 0 to 200 km/hr in 12.8 seconds with a maximum speed of 305 km/hr.
The tire range goes from 21 to 23 inches and is built to adhere to different functionalities and driving experiences offered by the Urus. It is designed to reflect the true spirit of the world’s fastest SUV on different terrains, including snow, gravel and sand.
In addition, Pirelli offers three families of tires depending on the style and driving mode preferred by Urus owners. P Zero is for performance lovers, P Zero Corsa is for those who want to experience adrenaline rush on the track and Scorpion is for those who prefer a more adventurous driving experience, most especially off-roading. These products are specially designed for extreme use.
The most important technical challenge that Pirelli’s engineers faced during the creation of their new tires was creating one that will have the following characteristics: strong grip, traction on snow, resistance to lacerations during off-road driving, and resistance to wear.
Pirelli offers owners with a variety of choices focusing mainly on balancing versatility of use with specific performance. This also means that those who are driving the Urus off-road can count on a thrilling yet safe performance.
