RTA has come up with a happy news for all the motorists across UAE as now they have the flexibility to pay fines in 12 interest-free instalments by using credit cards of seven select banks. Irrespective of vehicles registered in all emirates, the offer is valid only on fines issued by the RTA in Dubai.
Ahmad Al Kaabi, the Executive Director of Finance at RTA’s Corporate Administrative Support Services Sector said, “RTA has launched this service to enable clients to pay fines due to RTA in easy instalments through credit cards over a period of one year without incurring bank interests,”.
Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, Commercial Bank International, Dubai Islamic Bank, Emirates Islamic Bank, Emirates NBD, Mashreq Bank, and Noor Bank are the banks currently offering the customers this service and many more to join this list in the coming months.
Another benefit offered is that there is no limit on the fine amount which can be remitted through the instalments only through the RTA Dubai smartphone application.
